Latest COVID-19 update: Monday 27th September 2021
With parts of New Zealand moving to Level 3 this week and more businesses now being able to trade, New Zealand Post has advised they expecting an increase in order volumes nationwide.
We are seeing on average a 2-5 day delay on orders as we support pet-parents around the country, due to the nationwide delivery delays communicated by New Zealand Post.
You will receive an automated email once your order is shipped and will be able to track the delivery online.
The latest COVID-19 government updates can be found here.
Our business operates within the 'Essential' category and therefore we will continue to offer our regular services to customers throughout COVID-19 Alert lockdown level 4.
What this means for you and your pets, is that you will still be able to purchase your pet's food and other items from us as per usual and we will not close our business.
NZ Post is currently experiencing delivery delays.
As you may have heard, a team member at NZ Post’s Auckland Operations Centre (AOC) has tested positive for COVID-19. The AOC was deep-cleaned overnight, in line with Ministry of Health guidance and they are working closing with NZ Post to implement additional precautionary measures to protect their staff and the community.
Due to the additional safety procedures being implemented by NZ Post, we have been advised some orders may experience a delay of up to 5 working days. The team at NZ Post is working hard to get through the backlog and get your orders to you as soon as possible, however, to make sure your pet doesn't go hungry, we recommend you take these delays into account when placing your order.
New Zealand Post will continue to provide contactless delivery and physical distancing nationwide. To help manage the volume of items through the delivery network, please ensure you do not send items to businesses that are closed.
We will continue to keep you informed and provide updates.
